Every football club has a story, and the story of Midland Foxes FC began with a simple passion for the game.
The foundations of the club were laid by three friends who shared an undeniable passion for football. Long before there was a club, the three of them would come together almost every evening to play the game they loved. They played on different football courts, challenging themselves, enjoying the game and building a strong bond through football.
Their passion for the game also took them beyond their regular evening sessions. They travelled to tournaments and played for different teams as guest players, gaining experience, meeting new people and forming connections within the football community.
It was during one of these tournaments that the idea of creating a football club of their own began to take shape. The vision was to build a team where they could play alongside the people they had met, played with and built friendships with over time.
What started with a small group gradually grew as more players joined along the way. Friends and fellow football enthusiasts who shared the same passion and love for the game became part of the journey. Each person who joined brought their own character, energy and contribution, helping the club take its first steps and grow into something bigger.
As more people came together, a few more friends who shared the same love for football joined the team and played an important role in helping the club grow. Some of them have remained with the club and continue to be strong supporters of Midland Foxes FC to this day, while others moved on at different stages of the journey. Regardless of how long they were part of the club, each person contributed in their own way to the story and development of Midland Foxes FC.
As the club grew, something bigger began to develop alongside it — a community. The Midland Foxes Community was created as a place where people could come together, connect through football and become part of the wider Midland Foxes family. Today, the community has grown to more than 100 people, with anyone welcome to join and take part in the regular evening football games, social activities and other programmes hosted by Midland Foxes FC.
Over time, what began as a group of friends gradually became a group of families. People who initially came together simply to play football began building friendships, relationships and a sense of belonging beyond the pitch. Families became part of the journey, creating a community where people could meet, support one another and share in the experiences created by Midland Foxes FC.
Every individual within this community has played a part in the club's journey. Whether through playing, supporting, volunteering, participating in events or simply being present, every contribution has helped the club move forward and continue to grow. The strength of Midland Foxes FC is not built by a few people alone, but by everyone who has given their time, passion and support along the way.
The journey continues today. The club is still growing, driven by the same passion that inspired its beginnings, with an active and dedicated management team working tirelessly day and night to develop the club, support its players, strengthen the community and build a stronger future for Midland Foxes FC.
The club was born not simply from a desire to compete, but from a shared love for football — a vision that brought people together and grew into something much bigger than it was originally imagined.
That spirit of passion, friendship, family, togetherness and belonging remains at the heart of Midland Foxes FC today.
